AV biography
Adrian Visby is an American producer, multi-instrumentalist, remixer (mastering engineer) and downtown alternative hip-hop / post industrial rock musician of West Indian Lineage. Visby began playing guitar at an early age and developed a unique style under the influence of John Zorn, Bernard Sumner, Marc Ribot, John Lydon, David Bowie and Frank Zappa. His approach to production was defined by the creative schemes of Alan Moulder, Tony Visconti, Massive Attack and Trent Reznor. His Heavenade concept album under Sex Ant Toys has been classified a blueprint vessel for the post-punk revival movement of the 2000s. The song "Boxing Fashionista" inspired by the art works of William Quigley persuaded the SoHo artist to utilize boxing paraphernalia and anti-establishment propaganda at the runway of a fashion show in 2009 to publicize his Skrapper luxury brand.
