On p. 999, re: Frank's trip across the Southwest.

Rather than focus on the flashpoint of major wars (like that in the Balkans), I saw a greater connection to the discussion of eradicated plains civilizations. Is there not also a nexus between Kit's encounter with the Siberian shamans during the discussion of the Tunguska Eventa and also a similarity to the discussion of Kit's journey across the lands of the Uighur peoples around Shambala?
